Charles Schwab, a leading financial services firm, sought to develop engaging and compliant display ad banners for a new investment campaign. Their previous banner development process often involved multiple rounds of revisions and feedback, leading to delays and exceeding project timelines.

Approach

To streamline the banner development process and ensure Google Display & Video 360 (DV360) compliance, we implemented a two-concept approach:
  • Concept 1: Data-Driven Insights: We analyzed Charles Schwab’s target audience and campaign goals to develop a data-driven concept with compelling visuals and clear messaging. We focused on:
    • Target Audience: Understanding the demographics and investment preferences of their target audience allowed for the creation of relevant and relatable visuals.
    • strong>Compelling Visuals: Eye-catching imagery aligned with Charles Schwab’s brand identity and effectively communicated the campaign message.
    • Clear Messaging: Concise and impactful text highlighted the key benefits of Charles Schwab’s investment services and included a strong call to action (CTA).
  • Concept 2: Creative Exploration: Leveraging our design expertise, we developed a second banner concept that offered a creative twist on the core campaign message. This concept maintained brand consistency and Google DV360 compliance while exploring a unique visual approach.

Charles Schwab was exceptionally pleased with the outcome:
  • Zero Revisions: Both banner concepts were approved by Charles Schwab with zero revisions needed, saving them valuable time and resources.
  • Double the Options: Presenting two distinct, high-quality concepts provided Charles Schwab with greater flexibility when selecting the banner that best aligned with their campaign strategy.
  • Full Google DV360 Compliance: Both banners were meticulously designed to adhere to all Google DV360 technical specifications and creative guidelines, ensuring a smooth launch and campaign delivery.
